Special Thanks

Renee and Mikki

I feel lucky and blessed to be able to pursue my passion for animals and their welfare. In my lifetime, I have had the privilege to impact the lives of God's creatures in a positive way. As I start my daily chores in the near dark hours of the early morning, I tell myself that these animals are the reason the Rotts of Friends Sanctuary is here and that I am here to make a difference in their lives.

As a breeder, trainer, and law enforcement K-9 handler, I have always believed in the importance of rescue. I have taken this responsibility seriously and have incorporated all I have learned in my professional life to the Rescue mission. Since 1995, I have pursued all available opportunities to educate others and protect these abused and forgotten animals.

With the opening of my commercial boarding kennel at Yolo Canine Academy, my smaller scale rescue efforts were transformed into a full time large scale operation. My previous experiences as a registered Animal Health Technician at one of the nation's best veterinary teaching hospitals, and my four year tenure as the West Coast Director of the American Boarding Kennel Association has provided me with a strong network of professionals and advocates that provide much needed resources to Rotts of Friends Animal Rescue. I am amazed at the hard work and tireless efforts of our volunteers and staff.

The Rotts of Friends Rescue only survives with the help and support of the animal loving community, and the generosity of volunteers, staff and private donors. I believe in Rotts of Friends. I believe in its mission. Please help us to continue supporting this great cause and contribute. Your contributions will enable this organization to continue its mission for years to come. Thank you.
